The egg is a little overexposed on the left, and I'm not sure why you cropped it like that. Might also have been more effective without the egg white.

I like everything about this except the cropping. The flowers facing left symbolize the past or looking back, and having them come out of the right side of the frame gives me the feeling of moving away from something. The color and water drops as very nice. I would crop this image tighter from the left, ease it in further from the right, or flip it so that it faces right, to the future because these flowers are so fresh and the color is so brilliant and hopeful. Beautiful flowers...7

Challenge link: quite weak really - apart from the leaves, there is no clear link to November from the boots (or any calendar month), which would account for a vast majority of any low votes.

Image critique: the leaves are a little staged, looking more like a cluster than scattered and obviously the boots are placed there. It's well composed otherwise and there's plenty of detail and crisp focus. If anything it lacks real interest to carry it into the realms off 'specialness'. Improvements could have been:
> shooting form an unusual angle
> making it gritty, black and white
> cropping closer to show the contrast of textures without so much context

Out-of-challenge appeal: not much, given that the image has no 'wow' factor or clear meaning.
