Tranquility.by docpjvComment by MaryO: It does look like a tranquil place, and very private. Softness works with the mood of the picture. Image seems tilted; I think that's an optical illusion due to the wide angle (top of the wall is not parallel to the water as my eye travels to the right). |

Strutting Magpieby docpjvComment by surfdabbler: I read the title and wasn't looking forward to the image of a magpie in somebody's garden, but this surprised me. The colours work really well together. Subject would be better not looking away from the camera. |

Strutting Magpieby docpjvComment by macrothing: First true one (my interpretations anyway) I've come across. Difficult challenge this one. I think what you've captured does enhance the image. Nice and sharp on your subject too. Difficult, but maybe less at the top which detracts from the simplicity of the bottom of the image and the good bokeh. |

Tranquility.by docpjvComment by spencerwood: Interesting border. Seems to me though like it could have done with a slight ccw rotation to square up the very dominant horizontal lines. Nice effect on the sky coming in through the trees |
