imo the composition is a little weak. instead of placing the subject in the dead center, experiment with using the rule of thirds (or basically placing the subject off in a corner) and also not cropping so tightly. otherwise, your focus, colors, and lighting are good, and this is certainly an interesting subject. Hope this helps! :)
