Pretty composition. The road has a nice curve to it, I wonder how it would be if the frame were to the right just enough to include the far side of the curve? That is a nice simple, yet complimentary border you've used too.

I often wonder, in shots that contain this optical illusion, whether it isn't worth slightly over-rotating the whole thing to counter-act that. A touch darker overall would deepen the colour-tones here, which would be of use to the shot as a whole I think.

Beauty is a subjective thing, I know. In my scoring and comments I'm trying to score based on NOT whether or not I would think a particular subject beautiful, but on whether the photographer has succeeded in creating a beautiful photo. I look for the elements of color, lines, focus and dof interest, lighting, and a certain element of grace and lovlieness. I'm looking for a unique and creative appeal for the highest scorers. (This is what I'm putting at the start of all of my comments, and I hope it is helpful.)

That being said, This is a cool place in a great location. Certainly fits the challenge. I would have liked something of a more unique composition for this, rather than just straight on, centered in the frame. The colors seem somewhat muted as well.
