The Rockby bryanbrazilComment by EstimatedEyes: Absolutely beautiful ... well composed, perfectly exposed for both the rich silhouettes of the trees and the soft reflections in the water. The use of a flashlight (?) to brighten the rock adds foreground interest and pulls everything together. Anyone who questions whether this is painting with light is simply out of their mind. |

Exposed Rocksby bryanbrazilComment by Melethia: While there are indeed two rocks exposed, the true double take would probably be the beautiful reflections. Not sure if that was your intent or not. |

The Rockby bryanbrazilComment by bassbone: really nice job - the lighting on the rock is ever so little bit harsh but that is one heck of a background and a really good composition |

The Rockby bryanbrazilComment by JulieG: I love the silhouetted trees in the background and the blues of the water. In my opinion, the lightpainted rock is taking my attention away from the best elements in the picture. |

Exposed Rocksby bryanbrazilComment by v5planet: Don't really know how well it fits the challenge, but it's a beautiful photo, with lovely crisp focus on both the background landscape and foreground rocks. The reflection of the hills in the background in the lake are very well composed (the reflections end right before hitting the subject rocks). |
