Great job! I don't know where Alamere is, but this shot makes me want to find out! It's a gorgeous shot. The colors are phenomenal. The reflection in the water is also very nice! The ONLY thing that I don't like in this shot is the waterfall. It just seems to stick out like a sore thumb, a black box in the middle of the orange cliffs. But I am raising my original vote from 5 to 8, as this photo meets the challenge without leaving me to wonder how it fits the theme, and for the technical merit and overall beauty.

To me this image is way to over sharpened and has nothing to do with the challenge. The title is the only connection to the challenge and to me thats a little to weak this time. However the image itself is fairly pleasing and if it wasn't so sharp would be something I'd expect to see in a calender or on a wall. The stop motion of the birds is very impressive and goe well against the small cityscape in the background. I also like the way the dock draws your eyes into the photo. Giood luck in this challenge. <5>
