Evolution of Snow Travel in the Northby camelotnorthComment by muckpond: CRITIQUE CLUB!
A very interesting take on the Travel challenge, and very well-photographed. The lines of the snowshoes give nice focus to the picture, and it is crisp and clear.
I think this could be a better picture with a few changes. First, the snowmobile tracks are a good indication of the missing snowmobile, but maybe you could have used them in a more intersting way. Like, for instance, the snowshoes walking but leaving snowmobile tracks, or the other way around. Just a thought. The tracks with the other physical examples of travel don't really work together. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.
Also, the grass poking up from the snow kind of blows the feeling of the great white north. If there had been a way to take this so that the snowshoes looked like they were actually needed, it might have been more effective.
