A very pretty portrait of a nice young lady. :)

The lighting is nice even though it is a bit flat. Good modelling angle of her body and head. I think it might be more effective if she was not sitting cross legged, so that her back was straighter and you could maybe make it head and shoulders only and not have to use the square crop.

The point at the bottom where you cropped with half of her legs and part of her hands cut off takes away from the top 3/4 of the photo which is wonderful. Gets a nice 7 from me.

really cute shot. i bet you'll get dinged for cutting her hands off (mine also) after briefly reading through the challenge thread. i cannot for the life of me figure out how to light with a black background. I must be stupid.. it never looks right. my point - really like the lighting and would love to know your set up! good luck..

I really like the pose, the composition and the expression of this cute model. I dislike the black bg (too harsh for her white clothes, pale skin and fair hair) and the cut-off fingers. Still a good portrait. 6
