It feels more overhead than what you'd see in backlighting. The main subject feels lonely and distant to me. Also, I have NO idea what that title refers to ... scientific listing for this mushroom perhaps? |

The use of negative space is inspired, and besides being quite on-theme, this composition has just the right balance of interpretive evocation and artistic declaration to make for a compelling gallery piece. |
