Shyby riotspyneComment by whiteroom: very nice, only thing a bit more space on the left, as i'm looking at it rather than the right? [could be left handers prefer it this way?] |

Waiting For The Lightby riotspyneComment by rscorp: No you're right, they probably wouldn't because this image doesn't bash them over the skull with the obvious. What a cool statue and great PS work. A great effect without going overboard. |

Waiting For The Lightby riotspyneComment by riotspyne: Nothing spectacular on the processing. I individually selected the statue, the sky, and the ground and adjusted levels and brighness and contrast. Then used some dodging and burning. I think I put a Black and White layer over it too. I did about 5 different edits of this with intentions of putting it in the light challenge but was never really happy with it and didnt think that people would see how it fit the challenge. |

3by riotspyneComment by riotspyne: Your seeing a 3, duh.....just kidding. This was food coloring and water that I put onto wax paper with a syringe and layed over a light. My camera started trippin and by the time I got it working right it had blead through the paper. This was the test shot to see if it was worth redoing. The answer was no. It wasnt comeing out like I saw in my head, but I kinda liked the burnt look on this one anyways. |
