Descanso - Hwy 560, NMby jemisonComment by Mr_Pants: The lighting of the cross is great. I wonder whether cropping in from the left (removing everything up to and including the chevron) would be preferable. |

Descanso - Hwy 560, NMby jemisonComment by LalliSig: Awesome idea! This actually makes me think for a minute and that isn´t all too common on this site. Only thing is I think you could have lit the cross itself better, the lighting is too harsh and I guess you used a flash for this. I would have used a flashlight to "paint" the cross with light, enabling you to control the shadows more. The lighting drag it down from a 10 from me but I still gave you a 9 and it´s the highest from me so far in this challenge. |

"Breaking Through"by jemisonComment by ubique: There's something surprising about this. There's not much to it, yet it has an impact. I suppose it's the starkness of the sparkling rock against the clouds (is it a rock?). And the strip of black sky at the very top adds to the intrigue. 7 |

Descanso - Hwy 560, NMby jemisonComment by neenee1999: This is great, I have one of these along the highway here in my hometown. In memory of a friend that died in an auto accident in 1992. I like the shutter speed effect of the passing car, like life goes on. Congrats on a moving shot 9 |
