Berlin Wall by PanoComment by scuds: That was the frist thing that came up to my mind! But as I don't live anywhere close to Berlin, I couldn't shoot it LoL!
Perfect! My second 10 for this challenge! |

Double Mindedby PanoComment by vandal: This reminds me of that one painting with the guy in the derby hat and the apple in front of his face. Great shot! |

Double Mindedby PanoComment by graphicfunk: A good effect but one to invite the bell curve. I like it, because I am judging not the portrait aspect. Bumping up. |

Double Mindedby PanoComment by rscorp: Very, very unique. I like the effect quite a bit. Great light on the glass and very, very crisp. |

Double Mindedby PanoComment by srbrubaker: I guess shooting things through fluid-filled glass containers is the technique du jour. Think it works here better than the beer bottle, though I cannot say why. But I wonder whether we might be drawing near the end of the days where everything looks better through a beverage glass or bottle. I think I've gotten there. |

Double Mindedby PanoComment by Neil: Returning for comment: This is a good effect though perhaps a bit overused on DPC. It is well captured. I am not sure it works well under the category of portrait though! |

Double Mindedby PanoComment by Skip: i don't know anything about portraiture, so i'm using your image as a guinnea pig as to what i think i would or wouldn't do in this situation, as well as what i notice and get out of your image.
this is very, very clever, almost dali-esque. i like most everything about the image except for your treatment of the foreground and the background: the terrycloth picks up too much detail, and the wrinkles in the background come through too much. other than that, this is a shot i would like to attempt, myself. thanks for an interesting twist on the challenge! |
