Summer Dreamby PanoComment by samtrundle: Yes, the soft focus effect here is subtle, but it's there - who cares if it's accomplished via the use of a wide open aperture, a filter, or in post-processing. This seems to be a new style of photography for you, but I think you've definately pulled it off.
Oh... and the red-blooded male in me feels somehow compelled to add that she does indeed have a great body! |

Summer Dreamby PanoComment by talj: I am not fond of this type of photography (personal preference) but will try my best to make a constructive comment. I like the models face and hair, there is definitely a soft 'feel' to the upper part of this shot but IMHO you could have cropped from her shoulder down out completely and this would have had more impact than the current compostion. |

unnamedby PanoComment by Artifacts: Nice use of a wide-angled lense and good perspective. The orange highlighting adds to the image. There are a few jaggies on the railing the foreground leaves in the lower right are a lttle out of focus. but overall this is a good and appealing image.
I was lost in a considerably different environment, of course, but stark just the same. Would have been fun sliding down the rail though. - Steve |
