This si a beautiful portrait. His hair is remarkable and is so beautifully featured by your lighting and setup. The whole effect seems to be a little spoiled by whatever is obscuring the top right of his head. If you had enough extra frame, that neutral top right area would have composed strongly if you shifted your subject over to the RH thirds line instead of the left.

Similar but not with the contrast and detail. I like the colors. Giving up the forground to get the richness and light colors is great.
