This is one powerful image. Your lighting on your subject is technically excellent as you've got under the hat and shown all of the face. I do like the way that you have darked off the background. It's unnatural but a really good visual effect that doesn't detract from the result but enhances it. You do have a halo around his right shoulder where the mask is and that might cost you a point or two in the voting.
