This image reflects a nice sensitivity and invokes a nice mood. Unfortunately, it does not "grab" me. Having meaningful text would have helped. Am bothered that the first thing (i.e. the foreground) is the shadow of the pencil. The light in the background right corner doesn't quite work either. There is a softness and graininess to the overall image but that may be a reflection of the quality of your camera. Journey

I think you framed this picture very well.
I have come back to this picture several times. Something struck me as odd and I now know what it is. You didn't really photo something new. You photographed a message that implied something is new. In my opinoin, it just is not the same thing.

LOL. This one definately got my vote for humor. Definately new, that's for sure. The face plate on your phone though is textured and colored just right to make it look like the photo was sharpened too much, so if you get that comment, that could be the reason. The angle is good and lighting is good, however, it gets a tad bright going into the bottom left corner. i assume that's where your light source is reflecting. Overall nice photo. Good luck with the challenge.

I am giving you an 8 for a Couple of reasons. One I love Nokia phones, and two the time you took the photo and the time on the clock match. the funny thing is they don't always match when people enter photos on this site. I hate it when they don't match. it makes me suspcious, NormW

hah! That's certainly original...Very well executed as well. Maybe a slightly less distracting background (pure white or variation of a solid color) would have solidified this picture.
