What an unusual angle of a familiar and oft-photographed monument! I believe that the strength of this image is down to the excellent and simple composition which really uses the Rule of Thirds very effectively. I love the near horizontal line across the lower third - it balances very well against the curved vertical of the tower. The intensity of the light against the deep blueness of the sky is also very striking. 9, Kavey
