Beautiful color. If I saw this in a gallery, I would ask if the artist had a version with the fabric stretching the length of the frame, but I still find this a strong and dramatic piece. There are a few lines or wrinkles in the fabric that distracted me just the slightest amount, but I suppose they give it abit of character. Good work.

This is minimalistic, but the challenge description did state that you should have the subject occupy only a small portion of the image.

fits quite well, imho, with the challenge theme, although no doubt some philistine would have said to you that this is too big to be minimal. bah. I like the way the light falls on the yellow, as well as some of the visible texturing on that cloth. 8, but bumping to 9 to overcompensate.

I like the contrast and the colors of the picture, but the focus of the picture seems to take up more of the frame than minimalist goal of the challenge. 5
