Every morningby BoltiComment by dahkota: This seems more of a candid than a portrait. If he had been looking at the camera...Also, the environment doesn't tell me much about him. I do like the image - not your typical portrait/candid - but feel it is weak for THIS challenge. |

Every morningby BoltiComment by digitalknight: crop right in to the mirror - you have nice angled lines, but the chrome strip on the right does nothing for you, and the white wall isn't helping with your story. I think the backward print on the shirt and the shower curtain (well, with the shaving of course) is all you need for environment and the story behind it. 4 |

Every morningby BoltiComment by tate: existential is some way - -I like the idea but a closer crop and rotation might speak more loudly. |

Haleluja!by BoltiComment by TooCool: From the Critique Club:
Here is an excellent example of taking an ordinary scene and making one that pops using a simple prop and some decent post processing. If I saw this shot in a challenge normally, without the frame added, I would have never have given it a second glance. By adding the simple prop and making the scene within the scene brighter, you have added interest to the scene and you have given the eye somewhere to land. Nicely done!
Yours
