Nice lighting with a few hot areas. While technically probably close to the 1:1 ratio, not as "macro" as it could have been. Would like to have seen the picture focus on a small piece of your first Canon.

Good product shot. The high key background is done well. The only problem is that definition is lost at the bottom of the rotating screen where the highlights merge with the background.

I'm sure several people would tell you its not a macro, so I'll say something different. A larger depth of field might have helped. Some parts seem overexposed. A different angle zoomed in to get more detail might have helped.

I guess in my personal opinion, an 'extreme close up' wouldn't show the entire subject. This is a nice photo of your first cannonthough. Nicly lit and focus and clarity are good as well. I think that extreme close up would be a photo of one of the buttons, or the mic area or something. The photo itself is nice though, just maybe not the best for this challenge. That's just my opinion. ~Heather~

HEHEHE i had one of those too.. great cameras they are now i use the Sanyo C1 to SD card MPEG4, anyway good close up shot i gave it a 5 bit of overexposure on the vid door and lens ring but still nicely shot.
