Very interesting photo.

I think the depth of field tripped you up a bit here. The droplets on the right are nice and sharp. Those on the left are a bit soft. They make an interesting contrast, but not quite enough of a contrast to show that it is intentional.

I think it also hurts a bit that the largest drops, in the center of the image, are the softest. This is the area where the eye tends to go in a picture like this.

Lighting, brightness and contrast are done very well. This picture works so much better than it would have if it were done in a bunch of colors. Good job keeping it monochrome.

I also like your choice on the border. It does a nice job of complimenting the image, rather than competing with it.
