I like tight closeups, but here, her hair is all over the place and you can't see the puils of her eyes, giving her a zombie-like expression. I'm sure she is very attractive, it just doesn't come across in this shot.

I love that the focus is on the hair and not the eyes, but this still definitely counts as a portrait for me. It's something different, but it shows you what a portrait is supposed to show.

This is a nice shot. Unfortunately her hair is in focus but her face is not. I'm not if this was your intent but, to my eye, it's distracting. I find myself really wanting her face to be in focus.
