The "touch of rain" is immaterial - but the texture of the wet petals really works. Focus is soft in spots and the decay in the blossom is realistic, but not good for the image.

Soft focus and what appears to be a greenish cast (presumably bad white balance) leave this slightly unsatisfying. It is, otherwise, a nice macro shot but the key with macro is usually pin sharp focus. 6 - floyd

This had potential, with all the flower shots this one had a shot because of the title. But then when I pulled it up, it was out of focus (doesn't come off as a soft focus) and the colors seem off for some reason. I've never seen a flower that color and I visit greenhouses all summer with my clients. The stuff on the right of the shot is distracting, maybe a tighter crop on that side? As is a 3
