Exposedby atsxusComment by Damian: It's a bit noisy. Thats what unfortunetely happens when you shoot in dark situation. Would like to see this without the noise and it would be a very nice image....maybe in black&white or sepia? |

Exposedby atsxusComment by Skip: i guess you were going for the grainy look and feel...i see that it is a reflection using existing light from the candle. however, for me, the excessive graininess makes it hard to look at. i'd probably find it more interesting if your face wasn't hidden by the camera. that really is the challenge: how to capture what we see without the camera getting in the way... |

Where there's Smoke...by atsxusComment by e301: I like this, though I wish you hadn't proveided such a mundane title for it. It has a feeling of landscape about it - which, in my opinion, is the secret of all near-figrative photography that isn't people-based. It reminds me of aurora shots, and in it's forms recalls the trumpets of Michelangelo's heralds. The composition is startlingly effective too. 9 |

Exposedby atsxusComment by ws6_ta: The over abundance of grain has ruined what could have been a fine photograph. It appears that you have a Canon DSLR, which shouldn’t allow for such grain even at high ISO. Try taking the shot again and adjust some of the settings (ie ISO 200, 1/10 shutter speed, tripod to stabilize camera, etc) Also try using a flash, it will black out the entire mirror except for the reflection.
Good luck in your next challenge

Exposedby atsxusComment by Philos: Noise is not helping this image.
Intentionaly or not, it's not pleasing me (and I can only talk about myself)
Very nice camera, want to swap? |
