On A Clear Day...by atsxusComment by SaraR: The play of the ripples of the water against the strata of the rocks running an opposing direction is effective. If you get the opportunity to revisit would it be possible to capture the whole of the curve of the bay in the frame? |

On A Clear Day...by atsxusComment by Jedusi: Delightful looking scenary, with really nice hills for a backdrop.
I think I might have lost some of the foreground on this. The picture has a nice background (hills), nice middle (lake), and a bit of a beach scene going on in the left, all of which is nice, while the immediate foreground is just scrubland really, so (in my opinion) tends to detract rather than add to the overall image.
That said - what a great looking place :- ) |

On A Clear Day...by atsxusComment by EyeTrap: avg vote. Almost have an s curve :P Too tightly cropped for my liking and the grass in the bottom is unappealing (not sure if that is a road or a walk path.. the grey line). |

On A Clear Day...by atsxusComment by DJWoodward: Ok, this is a decent shot. I've been staring at it for several minutes to try to decide what would make it a better one. Perhaps a landscape orientation instead of portrait? Maybe some sharpening? A bit less vignetting in the sky? It's a beautiful location so I don't think it's your subject. Actually I think what might improve it the most is just a better light (time of day). For me the watm horizontal light of the morning or afternoon just brings-out more drama. |
