Creationby atsxusComment by taterbug: Overall, a nice photo. It's nice and sharp and clear. At first glance, it may seem kind of dark, but I find it does work and sets a definite tone or mood for the shot. The horizon is centered in the shot, but it appears to work ok for this image. I like the light reflection in the water, it has a nice line that draws the eye to a strong focal point of the light in the clouds of the sky. The land jutting out works pretty good, and adds some interest to the photo. Like I said, overall a nice photo, not a real, real high level of interest to strongly draw me into the shot (although a lot of that might be personal taste), but it is a pleasing image to view, with a good title that helps the presentation. All my humble opinion of course. Nice work. :-) |

Creationby atsxusComment by Jewellian: Gorgeous! maybe a tad on the dark side, kinda hard not to be, shooting into the sun like that, but other than that.... heck, I love it! |

A Sunsetby atsxusComment by Zoomdak: Nice tree shot, looks like a coming sunset/or post sunrise in the background. Composition is nice, but the shot doesn't really have a "Wow!" factor that DPC likes. And this is really the step that makes photos score great. I like it though =) |

A Sunsetby atsxusComment by tristalisk: I didn't score many of the tree silhouttes very high. Ifelt they lacked a bit in originality. Thsi one on the other hand realy stood out. I Love this one. The Shadows turmulace and contrasts in the clouds are just breathtaking. Nothing but an old withered tree would look right silhoutted against such a spectacular display. Wonderfull job one of my top 10 picks. |
