Posthumous Blue Ribbon:
I think what I like best about it is that he doesn't seem like a photographer at all. There's something so casual about how he has thrust the camera to his face. But casual is not the right word. He seems like an amateur in the very best sense. He is only taking a picture because a picture has presented itself. And once he's done, he will casually throw the camera to his nervous sidekick and get back to his card game. |
