Spice 'n Iceby saintaugustComment by skylen: Ooooh, another flash-flood. Please avoid the on-camera flash for challenge images. Good idea though! Cute title. With better lighting (natural or some other light source would work well) this could be a great image. |

Taking a Breakby saintaugustComment by GeneralE: I wasn't sure if it was intended to be "disturbing," but took it as a positive factor if it was ... this was one of my highest-scoring photos.
Maybe you were composing with your subconscious ... something to do with your username perhaps ...
"An interview with Simplicianus, the future successor of St. Ambrose, who told Augustine the story of the conversion of the celebrated neo-Platonic rhetorician, Victorinus (Confessions, VIII, i, ii), prepared the way for the grand stroke of grace which, at the age of thirty-three, smote him to the ground in the garden at Milan (September, 386)." |

Spice 'n Iceby saintaugustComment by film_de_verre: This is a very good idea! But, the image is a tad too bright and it should be bigger. Check in the tutorials on how to resisize photos. |

Taking a Breakby saintaugustComment by photom: An interesting take on the challenge - it doesn't shout "complex" exactly, but close enough. Black and white is well printed. Unusual to say the least. |

Taking a Breakby saintaugustComment by GeneralE: This looks like the kind of edgy, obliquely-referenced image I'd submit, even though I'd know in advance it would probably get hammered ...
(I'm SO sorry, I just HAD to ...) |

Taking a Breakby saintaugustComment by jbsmithana: I don't know why but this look contrived to me. It just does not bring out the true laborer. Good photo though and of course, it is just one guys opinion. Good luck. |
