just moved inby saintaugustComment by Jutilda: Oh this is so clever Great use of dual coloration. I like this so much. The roundness of the bowl against the straight lines of the cabinet - really well thought out. Crisp focus. |

shopping breakby saintaugustComment by ladyhawk22: Neat composition! I love how clearly the sky is reflected in the window! My only suggestion would be to crop off some of the top where the reflection stops in the window. Ideally, I think the name of the store should be completely within the reflection, meaning you'd probably have to angle the camera slightly differently. But I think it's the cool meshings of the inside and outside worlds that make this photo appealing. Good job on color, clarity, and the horizon. |

colourful conversationby saintaugustComment by ladyhawk22: OOOH! I LOVE the colors on this shot! Really great eye to catch something like this...very nicely done. The only things I can really think to comment on would be:
1) I'd like to see a little more of the person. Though if this is "random person x" it's hard to ask them to pose better ;-)
2) The pole on the left of the picture is perfectly lined up, but the one that's closer to the middle is tilting....now...I think that's just an angle issue. There's probably no way to get them BOTH lined up so they're going straight up and down. But the middle one catches my eye more because it's in the middle.
Really nice clarity on this shot, and again, kudos for recognizing a neat scene when you see one! |
