Didn't he get what he wanted? He is so cute. It should have been in color, because of his color against the light background and the tree. I'd love to see it in color. Bet it would be a 9. As B&W you loose a couple of points. It is well focused and cropped. I like the compositin and subject. As it's a 7. PTL

The dog does look blue, like s/he is sad that there is no bones under the tree. For me I don't think the black and white worked in this shot. I would liked to have seen the green of the cristmas tree for there wasn't much of it in the shot. 7.
