i'm very surprised that this photo scored only at 5.0 (i rated it a 7 and think it should have done better than my submission). to some, the washed out look might have been too . . . non-perfect photo (blech!), but as i look at it again (and i don't know the layout) perhaps if the cropping hadn't been so tight (assuming beyond the border would be interesting) that might be another suggestion. whatever, its better than your score and keep on doing what you're doing. cheers, tom

I really loved this shot. The deep rich red of the mill is a very nice contrast to the greenery around it. You did a great job of composing the shot also as it is well balanced.

The text at the top looks kinda out of place to me, but the photo is very good. I've never been in New Jersey, but this photo makes it look like Clinton is one of the places to visit over there :)

I agree with the scores on this one. I think the photo i took is a good one, however I didn't have the time do do the rest of the project. This was done as a test to see if I could remember how to get more then one image on a background( I'm not good at that yet). I wound up not having anymore time, so I submitted the practice one.
All your comments are quite accurate, not enough story telling here. I did, by the way, have other tulip shots that I could have used along with this one.
Oh well, next time I will get my homework done sooner!
