Aidenby cowcollectComment by Elaine: I would like to see more Aiden and less tree. The three fences in the baackground are a little distracting |

Aidenby cowcollectComment by BrennanOB: I think this would work better if you had fewer backround textures, say iif you reduced it to the boy and the tree. As it is the eye is busy with all the things that are not your central subject to really see the young man. |

Aidenby cowcollectComment by loriprophoto: If you had cropped out more of the tree, or maybe framed it with less tree and more space in front of the child it would have been a better composition. It appears out of focus and has a bad green cast. Fill flash would have helped you here too. |

Aidenby cowcollectComment by rjkstesch: Aiden looks like a fun young man. I don't feel this is the strongest portrait. The background distracts pulls me away from your subject. The bright light on the right of the tree also pulls the eye away. Having Aiden in the shade did help with the facial lighting. 4 |

Aidenby cowcollectComment by Di: Nice posing He looks cute posed that way :)
The background is distracting though with the chain link fence top coming out of his neck. and the light behind the fencing above that drawing the eye away from the young man. the light on the right side of the tree is again drawing the eye. movinghim to the middle of the tree thats showing and changing the crop might help here. |

Aidenby cowcollectComment by parrothead: On a shot such as this, the tree is more of the subject than the child. IMO he is just being pushed out of the frame. |

Aidenby cowcollectComment by madison461: Is this a portrait of a tree or a boy? A different angle using the tree as a backdrop and avoiding having the fences in the photo would have been better. The idea of a portrait is to complement the subject, not the background around them. |
