Comment by mnsanders:
Very pretty model. The lighting looks good as do the skin tones. I find her cropped arm (leading out of the picture) a little distracting.

Comment by Judi:
Very natural, although I think the angle seems to be making her a little awkward.

Comment by Brad:
This is such a nicely balanced shot.
This kind of portraiture is 10x better than sterile studio setups in my opinion.
I'm also thrilled to see the ISO400 when everyone says ISO100. Much easier to get
details out of the background at ISO400. Nice job!

This whole series is nicely taken - but this is probably my favourite.

Nice crop, lovely lighting. The mix of strobe and ambient works very nicely here.

I think this would be really awesome if you cropped it just around her face so that it is a picture of her highlighted profile framed by her arm. Very nice use of ambient light

Interesting portrait. I love the simplicity and it doesn't look very processed. Makes it really personal I think. Nicely lit too

I'm no expert, and I understand you allowed a bit more shadow... but maybe a slight reflector on the right side of her face would have made this pop just a WEE bit more. Nice series though. I'm trying to get into senior portraits myself.

No fill flash or reflector, we just happened into some amazing light.
As for the crop, 5x7 and 8x10 crops eliminate much of the bottom, I just posted the original crop... not sure why.
