i really love the contrast between the hair and the nose of the cat, however I think it would be even more interesting if you focused more on the cat's arm and face instead of keeping in most of the body. It is just my opinion though, great picture.

Good concept with the locket. I feel that the image will be getting hammered for the shadow. I would have done this idea over a candle lit dinner table, with his and her hands. I know that takes a lot of setting up though to photograph it well.

the crop on this is an excellent example of when to break the rules I think.

Love how part of her face is left behind for me, the viewer, strenghtening the story being told here. The softness gives a voyuer aspect to this, as though the camera isn't really there, but this little girl is just living and it was somehow recorded - hmmm - harder to explain how that's cool to me than I expected!

It's a cool shot - there's really in depth insight for you!
