Great photo! I particularly like all the little reflections in the wings and the off-center composition which works perfectly with the background. The clipped wing tips are minor problem, doesn't really bother me. As for the title, well I have to assume you're either flame-baiting or being sarcastic, either way I'm ignoring it and judging the photo only on its own merits - 8

Wow, best of the bug macros so far, and I've gotten through over 500 images. The detail on the wings is great, the harsh light on the right adds interest (and it's really interesting to see the same wings under a plurality of lighting conditions), and the non-flower backdrop helps a lot. The detail on the whole body is fabulous, and the head and thorax look gilded. I'm not entirely thrilled about the title because of its connotations, though that may be in part due to the political uproar in the U.S. surrounding a subject called by the same name. Great photo - good luck in the final rankings. This is top notch.
