o.k. idea but let down by the execution in my opinion. The apple is so dark that detail gets lost, the paper surface is uninteresting and disturbing. What if you had taken half an apple, flat underneath, and put it in another surrounding ?

Not really to the subject... The clouds would look much better with higher cotrast. Also some reference point is missing in the composition.
