The Power Of Windby I Enjoy HamComment by TooCool: Nice subject that could make a very nice shot! First thing that comes to mind is that you are out of focus pretty bad. Around here sharp focus is the number one key to a high scoring shot. Next thing is that you have your subject in the very center of the shot on a horizontally. If you moved it a tad to the right or left, you would have a much more appealing off centered subject. I would also try moving your subject up in the frame so you get the whole thing. Hope this helps.

The Power Of Windby I Enjoy HamComment by Gatorguy: The centered compositon and the focus issues hurt this for me. Plus, the way the smoke is rising straight up, the wind doesn't appear to be much of a factor either. |

The Power Of Windby I Enjoy HamComment by snackwells: Too much post processing on this one. Gives the image a rather unappealing undetailed, plastered apearance. This image fits the challenge theme well however. It's just crippled by technical issues. |

Crapsby I Enjoy HamComment by jbsmithana: Crap! I mean, what a better dice shot than mine. I love the DOF used here, the background color is also appealing. Not sure I like the two dice in focus being different colors. Good shot though. |

Crapsby I Enjoy HamComment by KDO: I like the idea of having dice of a different color, but I think it would have been more effective if both of the colored dice were the same different color (does that even make sense?) The dots showing through the pink die are distracting. I like the choice of having the dice in the background in softer focus. Great blue background. The reflection is interesting. Maybe you could play that up a bit. |
