Simple B&W presentation really makes the focal point of your photo pop off the page. The white tones of the doggie really pop off of the dark hues in his surrounding environment. And that expression!!! That wonderfully smug happy 'smile' on the dog's face is just great! As I look at it I do indeed hear the lines "What makes you think you're something special when you smile?" Hey Bulldog, I give you an 8.

I like the concept and the antique phone makes an interesting subject. I would have liked the effect more with an angle giving the feeling of space and emptiness to the room.
