The hint of mist in the background is so tantalising in this shot. If only it had moved on further and obscured the city scape so you know it's there but leaves the gull on the post as the strongest element.

If it wasn't for the challenge and some images in the shot I'd swear this was from the 50s. It works in B/W and regardless of all the images in the shot - it isn't too busy. Great Job.
