light workby chusterComment by blackenedwhite: bang-up shot, man (or whatever). the dynamic range is eeevil.;]
the compression artifacts [them annoying little blocky blocks of pixels] are bothering, though. could it be that your camera was set to shoot or is only capable of shooting low-res jpegs? or is it in the post-processing?
whatever the reason/s man, they fux up an otherwise good photo. what you could do, though, is to either set your camera to shoot hi-res jpegs OR get one of them nifty noise-reducing softwares i.e. neat image.
just my two (or ten) cents, man (or whatever).XP |

light workby chusterComment by paulb_17: I love this shot, but unfortunately there are some jpeg artifacts around the trowel and hand area. |

light workby chusterComment by dahkota: I love this image - it has so much movement. I can see sharpening artifacts around the guy which could be worked out with advanced editing. The tonal range is excellent, composition outstanding. I would burn just a tiny bit in the upper right. This is one I would hang on my wall. Excellent work. 10 |

white run blackby chusterComment by Tammer: I like the man on the bike. The upper right side of your image looks...odd. I'm not a technical person, but it looks polarized, or something. Very different from the rest of the way the shot looks. Just how my unprofessional eyes see it. |

white run blackby chusterComment by ubique: I like this. The processing is brutal, and that seems to very effectively isolate and contrast the primary subject and the several secondary subjects. They seem insulated from each other. The effect is to make the image easy to appreciate and enjoy. It's also interesting that the shadow, which is both the least dramatic and most interesting element in the photograph, is where my attention finishes up, no matter where in the image my scan starts out. 8. |
