A very beautiful sky. I really like the color there. The color of the bottom of the photo though (car lights?) doesn't really appeal to me though. Definately portrays a lonely night. You did a great job capturing that. The angle and framing/cropping is good, I think it looks ok if you were to crop a bit of the bottom off too. I like the silhouetted trees. Good luck in the challenge.

Gorgeous! I love the composition - the curve of the road and the snow and the sunset and the dark trees silouetted against the light sky. Makes me really want to be there.

Well, this definitely looks like it fits the challenge. However, I think that the subjects of the photo are giving a jumbled message that doesn't quite jive all together. I assume that the items indicating 3 separate countries was intended to convey the sense of moving from one place to another. This might have worked better if you had used three similar items from different places -- like three types of currency. It would have made a more eloquent statement.

Technically, the photo is not bad. The focus is a bit fuzzy on the koala bear and on the foreground of the pound note. The background does not stick out, and the lighting is fair and even. Is that a hair in the middle of the two passports? There is some kind of wrinkle in the file that pops out upon viewing for a little while. A little sidelighting (very little) would have also helped the koala paws not blend into the background so readily.

Overall, a decent still life and a good attempt at the challenge.
