It looks awkward and sets up a dichotomy between the chest and the face. Just below the collar bone works, just above the hip bone works, why? shrug, I don't know .
The wealth of detail in the dark shirt is robbing the face of the detail I would like to see. High key is a tough balancing act and I love the idea here to show off those lovely eyes, but losing all detail from chin to cheeks to forehead, is too high a price. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

I think I would have had a look at what the composition was like if I aimed a little bit further to the right maybe include the whole mirror. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

My attention is drawn to the eye right away, which is good. The eye make up is lighter toward the bridge of the nose and the high key aspect makes it difficult to determine the border of the eye. This makes the eyes appear to move in toward the nose and appear cross-eyed. A little burning in that area or a little more make up in that one spot would improve this image for me. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

I'm also not sure what you did for processing on your face but there is no shadows at all and it makes your face look quite flat and two dimensional. |

I really dislike the selective color, even if it is nicely done. I do like the over exposure on your hair and your dark shirt balances things out... I just don't like the one-color thing. Just out of curiosity though, is that your real eye color? |
