in case it wasn't obvious - I was only joking about the copyright thing :) Great picture, crudy mouse, can't believe you got 4 votes of 1.

Whew! It sure was tough being quiet this week!:)

First of all I would like to issue a formal apology to those that I offended by using your pictures. When I first read the challenge criteria, I focused on the "advertisement" and "appeal to the users of DPChallenge". Since I love the Absolut ads, this was the only way I could think of to make it work. Then I started reading the copyright infringement posts. Here was the problem I faced--should I email the 25 or so users and ask--thereby risking about an 1/8th of the voters pretty much knowing which picture was which----or preserve anonymity? Very hard decision--but I decided to just wait and see what happened. Perhaps I made the wrong decision--and I apologize. I meant no harm.

The original (fair!) picture layout consisted of taking the top three winners from every challenge. Then I had lots of trouble getting them laid out, so I just started grabbing pictures and printing them horizontally and vertically. So, just because you don't see your picture doesn't mean it's not there---it might be just hidden or on the other side of the bottle!

The mouse, oh the agony. I can't even look at this picture without cringing! Let me just say to all--if you keep a box of old but seemingly useful stuff that you think you might ever need---throw it away! Far, far away! That crappy mouse (circa 1996?) still worked so I kept it for an *emergency*--? Needless to say, this project was done at night, and with all the other issues, I never even really looked at the dirty guy. Well, believe me I have learned that lesson! No more pack rat--all brand new stuff for me!:) What a great excuse to shop!

Thanks again for all the comments--you guys rock!

Very creative. I imagine it took some time to prepare that bottle too. Clever. I might have used a cleaner mouse though.

I know its a digital photo because I am at the dpchallenge site. If I were not aware of the site would I know that this was an advertisement?

Good concept, but you could have followed through a bit better in the execution. Getting the photos stuck on the bottle was probably work, but I'd have tried to do a neater job if I were going to bother. Your mouse is nearly as dirty as mine. The devil's in the details, ain't it?
