i like this shot, but i think the leading line concept is weak. the fence seems to be the subject of this photo moreso than the path, and the path isn't leading the eye to another subject or point of interest... - setzler

A lovely peaceful setting you have captured. The fence lines are great in the fact that it's really natural looking and leads right down to the beach. B&W is excellent factor in your image as well. Great photo and GL.

The eyes say it all. She's dazed and feeling down that shows! Even though this is a staged photo it seems so real. This girl should become an actress, I've just nominated her for an Oscar :-) Good shot just a little out of focus perhaps.

CRITIQUE CLUB

Lighting: Gorgeous. I love the way this was lit and it really sets the mood of the photo. Because your focus is the dragonfly, the lighting around him is just enough to draw your eyes there.

Technical: All of your camera setting appear to be perfect, you are centered, and the lighting was done very professionally.

Challenge: Obviously met the challenge, but might not have been yellow enough, especially with the focus on the dragonfly.

Post Challenge suggestions: There is a slight glare or green towards the bottom that keeps catching my eye and drawing it away from the dragonfly. You might want to clean that up.

Overall: A great photo you should be proud of. I'm surprised it didn't do better, but I really think it just needed more yellow.
