When I saw the thumbnail, I was like--what the? It's a black square. Wow.
So I opened it, and now I think I'll have to say wow without the sarcasm. :)
Very nice work. The grain does make this shot, I think. And the side lighting, too, makes it feel kinda mysterious. I love candids that seem to tell a story, and this one certainly does.
