Now see, despite the gorgeous colors, I think this kind of piled up presentation with the food swimming in gravy or sauce looks awful and is not at all appetizing. Doing this to food is a relatively new practice in restaurants in my experience (like last five years?) and I quickly learned to ask how food is served as well as how it is prepared. Nice color and detail, though :)

Couple years back I was on a mission to try everything once.

Have you tried durian? You're not allowed to eat them on public transit in some Asian countries because of the smell.
