Wonderful view! The colours looks a bit too pastel (at least on my monitor), which is something I don't quite adore. I think perhaps a little more contrast and saturation would have helped. All this imo, obviously. Good luck!

I like the unusual composition and high contrast, grainy quality of this. Atypical of a nature shot but it works here. Clearly, some thought went into the composition and the creative look of the image. My guess, it will do well with a certain faction of DPC voters (like myself) and fall victim to the majority who will paradoxically see it as 'arty' yet fail to appreciate the art. Good luck and I hope I'm wrong! :D Thanks for sharing.

Brave use of negative space works well, nice silhouette on the bird and sand bank. Works well. Feels too dark overall but I can understand why, with only the grey of the water and black of the silhouette.
