Wildflowersby sibelingComment by HVGB_photos: Your photo would have demonstrated the effects of complementary colour contrast if you had changed your angle to show the violet flower in the middle against the goldenrod, and then cropped tightly to show just the violet and the yellow colours. |

Wildflowersby sibelingComment by LoveSpuds: In order to pull off a shot like these you really need to knock that background out of focus. Needed to be much closer to the subject and use as wide an aperture as you can.
As it is, I find the background way to busy and the floweres just dont stand out enough 2/10 |
