Very pretty - I like the soft feel of this photo. My only criticisms would be that it lacks drama - filling the whole frame with the flower just doesn't have the same appeal as if there was a bit of negative space - and that the surface the flower is sitting on is a tad distracting.

Conceptually I adore this. The execution, however, is lackluster. Literally. There's no sense of glow at all, and I really need some luminosity in the image. I gave it a good score, for bravery if nothign else. Good luck.

Just passing through and saw no comments on your pic. This is a very nice shot, I like the tones. Initially I notice a bit of a tilt to the picture. Whenever there is a water line (horizontal), if it is tilted the eye picks up on it immediatly. In the case of your shot there is a water line near the center way in the back between the shore lines of the river. I might have straightened the picture on the line. Sometimes around here a tilted shot could be the difference between a 4, 5 or 6 vote.

The tones are great in this shot and I like them the way the are but for the light challenge I may have adjusted the contrast a little to brighten the sky or (this is an advanced editing challenge) did the ol fantasy feel trick (theres a tutorial around here somewhere) the soft difused look.

I really like this shot, but think it would be stronger if the green leaf in the background wasn't so sharp.
