Comment by Ben:
Wow, i did a double take, well a double click really, on this shot.
It's fantastic. I love the softness and selective sharpness on the gates, it just has a feel to it, an atmosphere.
With the black borders top and bottom it gives it a cinematic quality, like from an old western almost. It makes it timeless.
Really love the wide angle aswell.
After my first look this shot just seems to have more and more.
I'm very impressed.

What would she be doing with all of those clips, anyway? Did you get any stuck on your nose? :)

She looks like the center of the universe.

Such a bleak and foggy view. I wouldn't mind having one like that myself.

Do ghosts crawl out of the fog at night?

Aw, she's making such a mess and I bet she enjoyed it, too. Great processing on the black and white. Very nice tones add greatly to a sweet little moment.

Great antiquing, this looks like it should be screen printed on some hipster t-shirt or something.

The image is definitely Bansky-inspired. Pretty cool capture.

I really enjoy your style...the processing on this one does nothing but make the image great as it is. I can tell you had a lot of fun doing it. Very creepy, slightly comical.

You are so fortunate to live where there is room to think. I noticed that in England, there is crowded city, and open country, and not much area with medium population density.
The treatment of this image is very nice to view. I like the softness and the fog on the hill in the background, and the grass looks inviting. Color would not be nearly as good as B&W for this scene and the way you captured it.

This is a very nice capture of a scene with many geometric lines and curves. It looks good to me like it is, and I'm wondering how it would look in B&W, contrasted to near lithograph, until the shadow of the pipe is just showing. There are so many geometric forms in this image that it's fun to just poke around in it and pick them out. The way that the structure at the end of the pipe echos the form of the gate posts and braces is one thing that stands out to me.

Beautiful B&W, nice triangle of interest created with the house in the background and the two bits of sharp fence on either side. Excellent! and what a great view!
